What are your opening hours?
Scarborough Town Centre is typically open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 11 AM to 7 PM. Individual store and restaurant hours may vary. We recommend checking the store directory on STC’s website before your visit.

Scarborough Town Centre is located at 300 Borough Drive, Toronto, Ontario, in the heart of Scarborough. The shopping centre is easily accessible from Highway 401 and is directly connected to the Scarborough Centre TTC Station and regional transit hub.
How do I get there / directions?
STC is easy to reach by car, TTC, buses, and rideshare services. The centre is connected to Scarborough Centre Station (Line 3 transit hub and TTC bus terminal) and is just minutes from Highway 401 via McCowan Road.
Visitors arriving by public transit can walk directly into the shopping centre from the Scarborough Centre transit terminal.
Do you allow pets?
Only service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities are permitted inside Scarborough Town Centre. Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed inside the shopping centre.

What happens if I need to return something, that I purchased with my Oxford Gift Card PLUS?
Be sure to keep your Oxford Gift Card PLUS in case you need to return merchandise for credit. However, it is important to remember that merchandise return and refund policies vary by merchant. If a credit is issued to the cardholder, the credit may not be added to the available funds for up to seven business days depending on the process followed by the vendor. Check your balance regularly online to determine when your card has been credited for the return.

Is parking free at Square One?
Yes. Parking at Square One Shopping Centre is complimentary for visitors, with more than 7,000 parking spaces available across surface lots and parking garages surrounding the centre.
How do I get to Square One Shopping Centre?
Square One is easily accessible by car, GO Transit, MiWay buses, taxis, and rideshare services. The Square One GO Bus Terminal and MiWay transit hub are located directly beside the shopping centre, making it convenient to visit from across the GTA.

You can use it at any of our Oxford Shopping Centres across Canada.
Can I use my gift card online?
Gift Cards can only be used at Oxford Shopping Centres and Oxford Office Buildings. They cannot be used for online transactions at this time.
How often are you updating this information?
STC’s management will receive live updates on how many guests are in the mall via the traffic counting system.
How will capacity levels be communicated? What happens if the area has reached max capacity or is in the red zone?
Centre capacity will be posted on our website to assist guests in planning their visit and determine the best times to shop.
Once capacity level reaches 80%, security staff will be positioned at select entrances in preparation to close our doors, should we reach capacity and need to operate on a one-out, one-in system.
Once capacity level reaches “Red” or 100%, select entrances will operate on a one-out, one-in system. Security staff will monitor these entrances and ensure physical distancing is being maintained in line-ups to enter the shopping centre.
How do stores manage capacity? Are you able to provide capacity for every store?
The maximum capacity of each store will be posted on the store front. Each store will manage their own line ups. You may also refer to our virtual line available here for a more convenient and safe storefront pick-up. Through this tool, you will receive a text confirming your position in line and average wait time.
Why can’t I buy a Scarborough Town Centre gift card?
Our Mall gift card program is temporarily unavailable as we work new gift card offerings targeted to be launched by Fall 2024. Updates will be posted on our website.
When will purchasing and redeeming gift cards be available again?
We are actively working to restore the gift card program and expect to have it resolved soon. However, we don’t have an exact timeline at this moment, we appreciate your patience.
Why can’t I use my Scarborough Town Centre gift card at a store?
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the gift card program is temporarily offline. We’re working diligently to resolve this issue so you can use your gift card soon.
What happens to the balance of my gift card and are my funds still available?
No need to worry, all balances on gift cards are protected and will be honoured. Once the service is restored, you will be able to use your balance as you normally would.

How can I redeem an eGift Card?
Please visit Guest Services to redeem your eGift Card for a physical gift card.

Do I need to check in before I start?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session to check in and sign the waiver. When you arrive, visit the check-in booth during your designated timeslot to meet with a representative.
How many iron-on patches can I put on my pouch?
Each participant can choose up to 3 iron-on patches from our selection of fun designs.
Can I leave my child to decorate while I shop?
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where can I get a shopping list?
Back-to-school shopping lists can be picked up at the locker installation at the Guest Experience desk.
Do I need to register to participate?
Registration is highly encouraged as spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
How long can I decorate my pouch for?
Please ensure you arrive on time for your registered session. Each session will be 1 hour long. However, the experience will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
How can I secure the patches on my pouch?
Once you have chosen your 3 patches, make your way to the heat press station where our trained staff will press on the patches to your pouch and you can watch your creation come to life!
Can I bring my own materials?
No need! STC will have all the supplies available.
Can I participate more than once?
Each participant can sign up and write 1 letter per day. To participate more than once, please register for another date.
How do I check out?
When you have finished creating your flag, please head back to the CHECK OUT booth to finish your session.
Do I need to pay to participate?
No need! This activation is complimentary, and all you need to do is reserve your spot.
What’s the latest time I can arrive?
Please allow at least an hour to complete the passport, as stations will close at 7 pm.
Where can I get an activity book?
Halloween Activity Books can be picked up at the the Guest Experience Desk.
How do I collect stamps and redeem my passport for a treat?
To complete your passport, follow the map and visit all five festive stations in any order to collect stamps. Once you have all the stamps, head back to the Registration Table to redeem your completed passport for a special treat.
Can I leave my child to complete the passport while I shop?
All participants must be accompanied by an adult.
Who can participate in this activity?
March into Motion is open to children ages 6 to 12, accompanied by an adult.
How many passports can I get?
One passport per registered participant. While supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do I need to visit all the stations to qualify for the special treat?
Yes, participants must visit all five stations to qualify for the special treat. The bonus stop does not need to be visited and is an added extra.
How many letters can my child write?
Each registered participant can write one letter.
How long can I write my letter for?
Please ensure you arrive on time for your registered session. Each session will be 2 hours long. However, the experience will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Where can I drop off my letter to Santa?
Letters to Santa can be dropped off in our interactive mailbox at Planet Santa, located in Centre Court or they can be taken home.
What is The Reading Partnership?
Established in 2011, The Reading Partnership (TRP) is a Canadian registered charity that offers inclusive, interactive and evidence-informed literacy programming. We exist to build community and cultivate a love of reading for children and families, particularly in under represented, racialized neighbourhoods.
How many photos can I take home?
Each group will receive one (1) printed photo to take home. If you’d like an additional copy, you’re welcome to rejoin the line for another photo opportunity.

The consolidation of balance from multiple Oxford gift Cards onto a single card is not permitted.

No, you may visit the 5 stops in any order you wish.
Do I need to complete the passport to participate in the event?
No — you’re welcome to visit as many or as few stations as you like. There’s no need to return to the Registration Table once you’ve finished exploring.
Can I pick up my passport in advance?
Yes, passports can be picked up at the Guest Experience Desk starting
October 24 during the hours below:
- Monday to Thursday: 12 – 9 pm
Friday to Saturday: 10 am – 9 pm
Sunday: 11 am – 7 pm
Who will be supervising the sessions?
Certified instructors from Unity Toronto will lead all sessions, ensuring proper supervision and safe activities. Parents or guardians must remain present for the duration of the session.
What should participants wear or bring?
Comfortable activewear and sneakers are recommended. Water bottles are encouraged.
Are there any health or safety requirements?
Participants should be in good general health. A waiver may be required prior to participation.
Can I return or exchange my purchase?
- We gladly accept returns up to 7 days after you were notified that your order was ready for pickup. Returned items must be in unused condition, tags intact and in original packaging. Swimwear must have a sanitary panel in place. Returns should be brought to the Yorkdale South Valet Desk anytime during mall hours. Please do not return your purchase to the retailer. - Most items will be accepted on return if they are in new and resaleable condition. This means that the item(s) must be unworn, in original packaging with original tags attached, and undamaged. However, there are some items which are unable to be returned. These include:Gift Cards

What if an item I chose is not available?
One of our Square One associates will contact you if any item of choice is not available in-store. They will offer to choose a different size or color of the same item. If you do not wish to change the size or color, our associates will issue a refund for the item(s) not available via the payment method on file.
